We are deeply grateful for the lasting impact that Gertude Walkus has made at our school. She shared her love and knowledge generously, instilling a sense of pride, belonging and connection in our youth. "Granny Gertie" will be dearly missed by our staff and students. My gran really did love the kids and working at the school. She'd tell me all the time about her days up there and how much she loves you all and the students who were always listening and willing to learn. Gilakas'la.
